Companionship care
A compassionate friendly face to help you do away with the feeling of loneliness or isolation.
Age UK reports that more than 2 million people over 75 live alone, and that loneliness is a contributing factor to the increasing number of hospital admissions among the elderly.
The global coronavirus pandemic has led to people being more isolated from loved ones and spending time with little or no company. This has contributed to mental health issues across all age groups.
We offer companionship care at citywide care solutions, including moving into your home or visiting you regularly to help you cope with loneliness and isolation.
Having a companion will allow you to have meaningful conversations, reminisce about good memories and re-engage with the world. Our companionship carers will provide company whilst you eat, play games and help with everyday activities.
What will your Companion help you with?
Your care is arranged to your needs. Perhaps you need company a couple of times a week or a person to accompany you on occasional outings or shopping trips. Our care will include:
- Personal care
- Shopping
- Running errands
- Meal preparation
- Medication management
- Mobility support
- Emergency response
